vic-TOR-ious! At the WWA World Championships!

We love any excuse for a good old play on words, and this time miss Victoria Young has provided  us with a great one as you can see in the title of the post. In the early hours of this morning UK time, Tor stepped up against some of the best female riders in the world for the final of the Pro Womens division at the WWA World Championships in Abu Dhabi. In what we hear was a very hard fought final Tor grabbed 3rd place on the podium, an awesome result when you consider that both Maxine and Ang who finished above her are much more experience as well as spend all their days on the water practising, whilst Tor is at home earning a crust along side her shredding!

Tor has bounced back in a huge way from her knee blow out last year, and is back better than ever, with a European Title and UK Pro Tour Title under her belt for 2011, the coming season in 2012 will bring only more top result we are sure.
