Nic Hibdige

As we continue to expand our team of Mystic Warriors in the UK we looked to Windsurfers, and Nic was our first signing to the all new Mystic Wind team earlier in 2011. This young ripper is really one to watch for the future, as you will see across all the Mystic Warriors they are either at the top of their game or future champions, and we see Nic for sure as in the latter category! Keep an eye on Nic in 2012 and beyond and we are sure what you see will be very impressive indeed!

So after a chat with our new team member, we have put together a little bit of a bio on him below. So now check it out and read all about him!

Nic who has recently joined the Mystic team was placed 2^nd overall in the U17 category of the 2011 UKWA Freestyle Tour, and won 1^st place at Poole Windfest.

He started windsurfing at the age of 10 following a trip to Bonaire which really gave him a passion for freestyle.  His first competition was in the U15 Bonaire Freestyle Championship 2010, which inspired him to start competing in the UKWA tour.

He currently trains on the South Coast at Calshot and Mudeford plus he travels to Bonaire in the Dutch Antilles once a year.  Another favourite location is Portland Harbour.

Plans for the future are to continue to train and to compete in the UKWA 2012 tour, and hopefully at some time in the future the PWA.
