Jamie Drummond

If ever we needed proof that all the best deals are done over a beer Jamie is that proof. We bet Jamie purely by chance at the London Boat Show 2012, got chatting at the bar and discovered he was ranked #5 in the UK and #15 in Europe for freestyle windsurfing! After a couple more beers and getting to know Jamie a little more it didn’t take long to sign him up and make him a Mystic Warrior on our ever growing windsurf team.

Okay so more about Jamie, instead of us writing a profile about him we made him sing for his supper and tell us about everything in his word, so here goes…

I now spend summers as an instructor with Ocean Elements in Vassiliki, western Greece, a windsurfing hotspot that is arguably the best-known European holiday destination for British windsurfers. When in the UK (largely over winter), I help run windsurfing clinics w, and also actively support a number of windsurfing festivals and competitions such as WindFest  and Aussie Kiss. Abroad, I compete at event locations such as Podersdorf, Austria and Fuerteventura

In early February I fly to Cape Town to train in freestyle and wavesailing. I will then travel to Tarifa and train there for all of March before heading to Greece to open the Ocean Elements centre for the summer.

Jamies will be rocking the 2012 Mystic Treasure Elite harness, Lightning 5/4 Winter suit and Crossfire 3/2 Summer suits as well as all the usual Mystic accessories.
